Men’s Luxury Consignment

Our mission is to improve sustainability in fashion by creating a highly curated and fun shopping experience where EVERY piece delights. To that end, we are highly selective in what what we accept as part of creating a curated environment.

We evaluate men’s luxury items including apparel, shoes, watches, accessories, travel gear and self-care products to see if they are a good fit for our store. All items must be in new or like new condition.

Consignment Splits

Each item consigned is reviewed and priced by one of our Consignment Managers. Items are marked down 20% after 30 days and 50% after 60 days. Consignors receive 50% of the sale price upon sale of their item.

Consignors are responsible for reaching out to pickup their items after the 90 day Pickup Date noted on their Item List. Please mark your calendar with the Pickup Date in the Item List you receive. Any items not picked up 60 days after the Pickup Date will be donated to make room for new inventory as we do not have storage.

Consignment Guidelines

  1. Items should be new with tags or in like new condition and will not be accepted due to signs of wear. Shoes MUST be in like new condition, free of scuffs or any signs of wear.

  2. Select your IN-SEASON men’s apparel and shoes to maximize profits. Jackets, watches, accessories, travel gear and self-care products are accepted year round.

  3. Email us pictures (gentlemensresale81@gmail.com) or call us (212-734-2739 or 212-734-4077) to schedule an appointment to bring your items in. We cannot guarantee pricing or salability of an item until a pricing specialist inspects an item in-person but we will do our best to save you a trip in whenever possible!

  4. Bring your items in and complete a consignment agreement.

    The consignment agreement outlines the terms and conditions of the consignment process. Please note that NYC requires us to maintain a copy of photo IDs for all consignors so be sure to bring this in with you. Please ensure your complete the consignment agreement with your full, proper name and mailing address to avoid any issues with receiving checks!

  5. Your items are priced for sale and you receive an Item List identifying any items that were accepted and any which need to be picked up.

    Due to high volume, you will receive an email within 7-10 day of signing your consignment agreement with your accepted Item List and pricing from one of our Consignment Managers. The email will note any items NOT accepted. Due to space constraints, we will hold any items which are not accepted for pickup for 2 weeks before donating the item(s) so please pick them up promptly!

  6. Get paid!

    Checks are mailed out on the 15th of each month for all sales in the PRIOR month. The check will include an itemization of what sold. If an item is not listed on the check or you do not receive a check then your item did not sell.

  7. Pick up your unsold items.

    Please reach out to us after your Pickup Date to arrange pick up of any unsold items or let us know if you would like them to be donated.

FAQS

  1. When do I get paid?

    Checks are cut on the 15th of each month for all sales in the PRIOR month (e.g. a check will be processed on July 15th for sale of all items between June 1st and June 30th) and mailed on the following business day.

  2. How will I know if my items have sold?

    Your check will include a summary of all sales activity for the prior month. If you do not receive a check then none of your items sold in the prior month.

  3. When should I pickup my unsold items?

    Your Item List will include a Pickup Date on it. Please mark the Pickup Date on your calendar and check in with us after the Pickup Date to claim any unsold items. Unsold items will not be donated until 60 days AFTER the Pickup Date to allow ample time for sales and final checks to be processed and any unsold items to be picked up.

  4. Can you try to sell my items for longer than the consignment period?

    Due to high volume at this time, we are unable to extend consignment periods or re-consign any items.
